Diese Naturansicht in der Ortschaftsmauer, dem heutigen 23. Gemeindebezirk in Wien ist eine seltene, wenn nicht die einzige voll ausgeführte und signierte Landschaftszeichnung von Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller. Eine ausgewogene Komposition, die sich in allen feinen Details darstellt. Die Wahl des grünlichen Papieres verstärkt die Wirkung der sommerlichen Stimmung und verleiht der Zeichnung einen ganz besonderen Reiz. – Leicht gebräunt, ca. 1 cm langer Riss am unteren Rand, verso mit Klebeband unterlegt, sonst in einem guten Zustand.
