Description
Brancaccio, der zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts mehrfach im Pariser Salon ausstellte, empfing wesentliche Anregungen durch die Malerei des französischen Impressionismus. Hier wendet er das Gelernte auf die Heimatstadt Neapel an, die in seiner Darstellung mit ihren elegant gekleideten Passanten und den verlockenden Schaufenstern mit der französischen Hauptstatt wetteifert. – Sehr gut erhalten.
