Sujet und Palette erinnern in ihrer pastosen Modernität zunächst nur wenig an das sonstige Oeuvre des Künstlers. Dennoch ist eine Autorenschaft denkbar, da Knaus immer wieder auch innerhalb verschiedener anderer künstlerischer Stilrichtungen experimentierte. – Die Malschicht teils angestaubt, mit kleinen Bereibungen und Farbabplatzungen; eine senkrecht verlaufende Kratzspur in der rechten Bildhälfte. Insgesamt in altersgemäßem Originalzustand.
