Description
Für sein Aquarell “Schlafender Riese” (Boetticher Nr. 7) griff Oberländer, vier Jahre nach der Entstehung dieses Gemäldes, das Thema erneut auf. Verso der Kopf eines Fauns in Öl. – Der Bildträger leicht gebogen, verso (wohl vom Künstler selbst) mit zwei Holzstreben verstärkt; die Maloberfläche etwas angeschmutzt, teils mit Bereibungen und kleineren Kratzspuren. Insgesamt in altersgemäß gutem Originalzustand.
