Description
Musikalische Gesellschaften waren in der niederländischen Kunst des 16. und 17. Jahrhunderts ein beliebtes Bildthema. Hier wird ausschnitthaft vor dunklem Fond eine Gruppe von zwei Herren und einer Dame wie auf einer Bühne inszeniert. Das warmtonige Kolorit bindet die drei zu einer Einheit, aus der nur das Weiß der Ärmelspitzen und Krägen hell herausblitzt. – Von schöner Erhaltung.
