Arbeit mit reizvollem Materialcharakter, die in ihrer Aussage verschiedene Interpretationen zulässt: Das Gebilde links oben, reliefhaft aufgetürmt durch Schichten von Ölfarbe, hat Züge eines menschlichen Kopfes, aus seinem geöffneten Mund scheint Wasser in eine Art Becken am unteren Rand zu fließen. Wie oft in dieser Zeit kombiniert Roth hier Spritztechnik, Zeichnung und Malerei zu einem surrealen Ganzen. – Verso partiell auf die Unterlage montiert. Sehr gut erhalten.
