Description
Modell für die “Steinrose” mit einem Durchmesser von zwei Metern, von der Koenig zwei Granitunikate (heute im öffentlichen Raum in Landshut und Utrecht) sowie eine Fassung in Bronze (Schloss Wolfsgarten, Hessen) schuf. Mit seiner beschwingten Modulation und der daraus folgenden Licht- und Schattenwirkung unterscheidet sich das Werk stark von der Strenge anderer Arbeiten aus dieser Zeit. – Sehr gut erhalten.
