Description
Detailreiches, farbfrisches Landschaftsaquarell. Dorner orientierte sich wie sein Vater an den holländischen Landschaftsbildern des 17. Jahrhunderts. Seine Bildthemen fand er vor allen Dingen in der Landschaft seiner bayerischen Heimat, die er als Erster künstlerisch wahrnahm. Er malte zahlreiche Motive aus Oberbayern und kann mit diesen Bildern als bahnbrechend für die Entdeckung der heimatlichen Landschaft in der Malerei gelten. – Am Rand alt ins Passepartout montiert. In sehr guter Erhaltung.
