Bereits 1827 hatte Hildebrandt das Thema in einem Gemälde aufgegriffen, das anschließend von dem Prinzen von Preußen erworben wurde (vgl. Thieme-Becker Bd. 17, S. 80). Mit alter Zierrahmung in goldenem Prägedruck. – Verso von fremder Hand “Hildebrandt” bezeichnet; die Malschicht teils etwas berieben, sonst gut.
