Description
Locker lavierte, graue Pinselzeichnungen sind typisch für das zeichnerische Oeuvre Elligers. Wahrscheinlich entstand das Blatt als Titelentwurf für eine geplante religiöse Folge: So kämpft hier ein Putto mit dem Flammenschwert des Erzengels Michael gegen die heidnischen Harpyien. – Teils etwas fleckig und mit einer kleinen Knickspur oben links, sonst gut. An zwei Ecken alt auf Sammlungsunterlage montiert.
