Description
Kollwitz schuf das Relief auf Bitten ihrer Schwester für das Familiengrab in Berlin-Lichtenberg. Inspiration fand sie in einem Gedicht Goethes: “Gottes ist der Orient!/ Gottes ist der Okzident!/ Nord- und südliches Gelände/ Ruht im Frieden seiner Hände.” (1. Strophe der Talismane, Moganni Nameh, Buch des Sängers). – In sehr gutem Zustand.
