Description
Im Jahr 1919 hatte der siebzigjährige Maler seine junge Assistentin Helene geheiratet. Hier zeigt er sie gegen eine Wand gelehnt in die Lektüre versunken und konzentriert sich in der Farbwahl ganz auf den Kontrast zwischen dem leuchtenden Blau des Kleides und dem warmen Rotbraun der Umgebung. – Geringfügig gebräunt, sonst schön.
