Bleistift auf Velin mit angeschnittenem Wz. von “JWHA(TMAN) TURKE(Y MILL)18(…)”. (18)38. Ca. 20 : 12 cm. Rechts oben “Nürnberg 12.9.38” datiert. Recto und verso unterhalb der Darstellung mit dem Nachlassstempel in Rotbraun (vgl. Lugt 2307). Gerahmt.

Description

Im September 1838 reiste Spitzweg nach Nürnberg, die vorliegenden Skizzen dürften auf dort gesehene Skulpturen oder Kunsthandwerkarbeiten zurückgehen. Verso mit Skizzen zu Adam und Eva, einem Drachen und einer barbusigen Tänzerin. – Der Bleistift teils schwach verwischt, sonst gut erhalten.
Provenienz: Sammlung Friedrich Pecht, am Unterrand mit dem Sammlungsstempel (nicht bei Lugt).
