Die plastisch ausgearbeitete Aktstudie entstand zu der Zeit, als Bottschild Oberhofmaler des sächsischen Kurfürsten Johann Georgs II. war. Unten rechts von fremder Hand mit roter Tinte bezeichnet. Am unteren Rand mit kleinen Mängeln, verso hinterlegt, sonst gut erhalten.
