In dieser großformatigen Radierfolge mit reizvollem Materialcharakter variiert Janssen das Thema “Der Tod und das Mädchen”, das besonders seit der Zeit der Romantik ein wichtiges Motiv in Literatur, Kunst und Musik darstellt. Dabei stellt er den Tod als Verführer dar, der sich dem Mädchen in erotischer Umarmung nähert. – Die Bll. im Rand teilweise minimal knittrig, sonst sehr schön.
