Description
Carl Friedrich Werner studierte bei Hans Veit und Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld an der Akademie Leipzig und später bei Freidrich von Gärtner in München. Seine Aquarelle sind sehr getreu in der Wiedergabe aller Einzelheiten, daher von bedeutendem ethnographischem und architekturgeschichtlichem Wert. – Mit Reißnagellöchlein in den Ecken, verso mit Resten alter Montage, sonst von altersgemäß guter Erhaltung.
