Description
Besonders reizvolle Allegorien auf Feuer, Wasser, Erde und Luft (die nur in Bleistift ausgeführte Zeichnung ist eine erste Skizze zur “Luft”). Die Entwürfe entstanden für die Wanddekorationen des Deutschen Pavillons der Weltausstellung in St. Louis/USA im Jahr 1904. Leicht knittrig und gebräunt, die Bleistiftskizze mit Riss am rechten Rand, die Federzeichnung “Luft” mit unregelmäßigem unteren Rand.
