Description
Bl. 1 verso mit Bleistiftzeichnungen von drei japanischen Köpfen sowie mit japanischen Schriftzeichen. Auf Bl. 2 sitzt der Vulkan Montagne Pelée Feuer und Rauch spuckend an einer gedeckten Tafel mit vier Personen, die sich teilweise die Ohren zuhalten. Der heftigste und folgenreichste Ausbruch des auf Martinique gelegenen Vulkans ereignete sich am 8. Mai 1902. Wahrscheinlich spielt die Karikatur darauf an. Bl. 2 verso mit einer Dame in winterlicher Landschaft, ebenfalls japanisch signiert. Bl. 1 am Rand etwas angeschmutzt, sonst beide Bll. in gutem Zustand.
