Die Dramatisierung der Naturgewalten und deren direkte Konfrontation mit allem irdisch Vergänglichen, sollte schließlich in der Malerei der Deutsch-Römer eine tiefgreifende Renaissance erleben. – Vereinzelt mit Papierverlust im Bereich der Einfassungslinie; das Papier etwas angeschmutzt und stellenweise gebräunt.
