Bei dem Gemälde handelt es sich um keine genaue Kopie, sondern eher um eine Variante nach dem Selbstbildnis in Kassel (Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister) von 1634, dessen Mantel später zugefügt wurde. – Doubliert. Mit leichtem Craquelé und kleinen Retuschen im Hintergrund und Randbereich. In gutem Zustand.
