Der sommerliche Garten mit Stockrosen, Stiefmütterchen und Kohlfeld erhält durch den leeren Fleck im Vordergrund eine weitere, menschliche Dimension: die liegengebliebene Gurke und die umgefallenen Töpfe lassen den Betrachter auf einen Gärtner schließen, der scheinbar gerade den Bildausschnitt verlassen hat. – Vereinzelte Retuschen, sonst in gutem Originalzustand.
