Spätherbstliche Abenstimmung in den Highlands, wohl in Anlehnung an ein Motiv des berühmten englischen Tiermalers Sir Edwin Henry Landseer (1802-1873) entstanden. Rechts unten nachträglich (?) “E. Landseer” bezeichnet. – Im Randbereich kleinere Retuschen, links unten mit etwas Craquelébildung.
