Description
Liebevoll ausgeführtes Landschaftsstück, das seine Spannung aus dem Kontrast zwischen den nahsichtig behandelten Felsen unter dunkel heraufziehender Wolkenkulisse und dem fernen, tief liegenden Landschaftsausblick in heiterem Sonnenlicht bezieht. Das Gemälde war früher Ferdinand von Kobell zugeschrieben. – Mit einzelnen Frühschwundrissen und einem kleinen Farbausbruch am unteren Rand.
