Description
Vereinfachte Version der Zeichnung im Museo dell’Opera del Duomo, Orvieto (Eitel-Porter, siehe unten, Abb. 23), aber ohne die beiden Kinder im Vordergrund. Laut Eitel-Porter, der die Zeichnung nicht im Original vorlag, könnte es sich um eine Arbeit der Werkstatt des Künstlers handeln. Denkbar ist jedoch ebenfalls ein erster Entwurf, der dann in der folgenden Zeichnung ausgeschmückt wurde. – Leicht fleckig und am linken Rand mit Knickspuren, Papier dort leicht brüchig. Verso mit Atelierspuren.
