Von der kinetischen Kunst der 1960er Jahre kommend, widmet sich Benton dem Thema Bewegung, deren Metaphern er in zahlreichen Werkgruppen aus den Grundformen Dreieck, Quadrat und Kreis entwickelt. Die industriell aus Stahl gefertigten Teile scheinen in einem labilen Gleichgewicht zu stehen und erinnern an Teile von Maschinen, den Inbegriff von Bewegung. – An der Plinthe mit unregelmäßiger Patina. In sehr gutem Zustand.
