Description
Ist die Minimal Art in ihren plastischen Werken von strenger Präzision geprägt, weicht der Künstler in einigen seiner Gouachen geradezu lustvoll davon ab. Das beginnt schon damit, dass er die Farben leicht abtönt – das Gelb ins Grünliche, das Blau ins Grau – und ihnen damit die Schärfe nimmt. Seine Konturen sind mit der freien Hand gezogen, die Farbflächen durch den deutlich sichtbaren Pinselstrich gelockert, übrig geblieben ist nur die geometrische Grundform. – Verso mit Farbspuren aus dem Atelier, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
