Description
Neben dem Licht sind es seit den 1960er Jahren Feuer und Rauch, die Otto Piene in seinen künstlerischen Experimenten beschäftigen. Pienes Ziel ist es, dem Betrachter die Schönheit der Naturelemente vor Augen zu führen. Kunst ist das Medium der Transformation. In der “Kleinen Aurora” sind Kraft und Schönheit der Sonne visualisiert. Feinste Rußpartikel legen sich wie die züngelnden Flammen eines Feuerballs um das kräftige orangerote Rund in der Mitte der Komposition. – Sehr guter Erhaltungszustand.
