Description
Die stimmungsvolle Zeichnung führte Röth anschließend, wie ein späterer Vermerk auf dem Blatt zeigt, auch als Ölgemälde aus. Bereits während der Entstehung der Zeichnung vermerkte er rechts unten “miserables Papier”. – Mit einem mit Klebestreifen fixierten Riss links unten und Reißnagellöchlein in den Ecken.
Provenienz: Nachlass Philipp Röth; Sammlung Otto Leitolf, Aschaffenburg, seither im Familienbesitz, Österreich.
