Für die Münchner Kunst des Biedermeier charakteristische Komposition: Die idyllische Hauptszene ist ganzflächig in die liebevoll und detailliert ausgearbeitete Randzeichnung montiert. Zwei kleinere Bildflächen am oberen Rand zeigen weitere Szenen aus der Zeit der Brautwerbung. – Leicht angeschmutzt bzw. gebräunt, unterer Rand mit wenigen leichten Knickspuren. Verso mit Resten alter Montierung.
