Kritisch und karikaturhaft wird in dieser Arbeit die Kirche und die Religion thematisiert, die aus Sicht von kommunistisch orientierten Künstlern wie Führmann zur Verdummung und Abhängigkeit der Bevölkerung führt, hier dargestellt durch die knienden, betenden Personen mit andächtig gesenkten Eselsköpfen. – Leicht knittrig und mit kleinen Randmängeln.
