Description
Andy Warhol widmete dem “Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance” zum sechzigsten Geburtstag ein Portfolio. Dieses Blatt trägt den Titel einer der bedeutendsten Choreographien der Tänzerin. Grahams Figuren zeichnen sich durch starke Emotionen, die Warhol in seiner Komposition eindrucksvoll wiedergibt. Die Variante in Grün mit Blautönen ist neben der bei Schellmann II. 388 genannten Auflage erschienen und somit ein Unikat. – Stellenweise am Rand kaum merklich bestoßen. Sonst farbstarkes Exemplar in ausgezeichneter Erhaltung.
Provenienz: Vom Vorbesitzer direkt beim Nachlass von Andy Warhol (“The Andy Warhol Estate”) erworben.
