Description
Kuhl 364/1 (von 2).
Mit dem sitzenden sowie dem liegenden Mannequin (Kuhl 363) porträtierte Wimmer nach eigener Aussage “Mädchen von 1970” (Brief an Gerhard Marcks vom 12.2.1970), also den Typus der zeitgenössischen jungen Frau. Wie schon in den vorbereitenden Zeichnungen sind die schlanken Gestalten als Aktfiguren konzipiert, also aus ihrem beruflichen Umfeld herausgehoben. Vom “Sitzenden Mannequin”, das in dieser Version wohl nur in sehr kleiner Auflage entstand (Kuhl nennt nur das Exemplar in der Hans Wimmer-Sammlung, Passau), schuf Wimmer noch eine zweite Fassung, in der das Mädchen auf einem Steinblock sitzt. – Sehr gut erhalten.
