Description
Die künstlerische Laufbahn Otto Nebels wurde entscheidend durch Kandinsky geprägt, den er 1919 in Berlin kennenlernte. Als das vorliegende Werk entstand, war Nebel bereits nach Bern emigriert, wo er er auf Vermittlung des Russen jahrelang von der Guggenheim Foundation unterstützt wurde. In seiner Reduktion lässt das Blatt schon die weitere Entwicklung Nebels hin zur Abstraktion ahnen. – Gut erhalten.
