Description
Mit spitzem Bleistift gezeichnete, architektonisch genau erfasste Studie des Künstlers und Architekten Wiegmann. Dieser besuchte von 1828 bis 1832 die deutsche Künstlerkolonie in Rom und bereiste von dort aus Nord- und Süditalien. Dabei erforschte er sowohl die Architektur des Altertums als auch der späteren Zeiten und widmete sich archäologischen Ausgrabungen. – Verso an den Rändern wenige Montagespuren. Allgemein in sehr gutem Zustand.
Provenienz: Kupferstichkabinett Dresden bis 13.1.1991, verso mit dem Stempel (Lugt 693 b).
