Description
Die Darstellung illustriert die Geschichte vom Grafen Rudolf, wie sie Aegidius Tschudi in seinem “Chronicon Helveticum” (1734-36) festhielt. Der Graf gab hiernach sein Pferd einem Priester, damit dieser den reißenden Bach überqueren und einen Sterbenden mit den Sakramenten versehen konnte. – Zwei Löchlein in der Bildmitte. Rechte untere Ecke mit fachmännisch restauriertem Riss. Verso Reste von alter Montage, sonst von guter Erhaltung.
