Ender, der seit 1837 Professor an der Wiener Akademie war, schuf zu dieser Zeit mehrere Landschaftsserien, die er in zahlreichen Studien und Aquarellen vorab festhielt. – Am Oberrand etwas fleckig; teils kleine Randmängel; verso mit Kleberesten und Farbwischern, sonst in gutem und farbfrischem Zustand.
