Harmonisch komponierte Landschaft mit stimmungsvollen Versatzstücken der deutschen Romantik: dem einsamen Wanderer, dem Kontrast zwischen Fels und Vegetation, dem Bach, der, aus dem Waldinneren kommend, tosend über die Steine des Vordergrunds fällt. Knittrig und mit kleinen, z.T. hinterlegten Randmängeln.
