Description
Charakteristische, virtuos ausgeführte Komposition mit schönem Kontrast zwischen den frischen, klaren Farben des Vordergrunds und den vom Dunst des sommerlichen Tags umfangenen Hügeln im Hintergrund. Aquarelle wie das Vorliegende waren besonders bei englischen Sammlern sehr geschätzt. – Linke untere Ecke mit kleiner Knickspur, linke obere Ecke mit winzigem Papierverlust, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
