Wie viele Farben hat Pink? In den fließenden Übergängen intensiv leuchtender Pink- und Rottöne inszenierte Geiger die markanten Kreationen seines Oeuvres der 80er Jahre: “Diese Bilder üben einen Sog aus. Unmittelbar und direkt gehen die Farben unter die Haut. Man vergisst für einen Moment, wer man ist und warum man eigentlich hergekommen ist. Als würden Rupprecht Geigers Farben ein Zwiegespräch mit den eigenen Emotionen halten” (“Focus”-Artikel zum 100. Geburtstag Rupprecht Geigers, 13.12.2007). – Die Oberfläche teils berieben und stellenweise mit Kratzspuren.
