Dieses nur in kleiner Auflage im Vice-Versand, Remscheid, erschienene Multiple zeigt exemplarisch, wie Beuys mit den Beschaffenheiten der Materialien arbeitet, die er immer auch inhaltlich interpretiert. Stahl und Filz weisen gegensätzliche Eigenschaften auf: Ist Stahl hart, kalt und (in diesem Fall) scharf geschliffen, so ist Filz weich, wärmend, dämmend; er schützt und entschärft zugleich das verletzende Potenzial der Klinge; im übertragenen Sinn absorbiert er die negative Energie des kriegerischen Instruments und behütet zugleich das kostbare Statussymbol der japanischen Ritter. – In einwandfreier Erhaltung.
