Figürliche Darstellung eines Phantasiewesens mit Farnwedeln und Hut. Es ist eine für die figurative Phase typische, naiv wirkende Figur. Im Hintergrund klingt bereits an, was später in den abstrakten Kompositionen charakteristisch für Dubuffet wird: weiche, amöbenartige Formen greifen ineinander. Bezeichnend für den Künstler ist auch der Bildtitel, der wichtiger Bestandteil des Kunstwerkes ist, und seine Findung ist Teil des kreativen Prozesses.
Blatt mit Lichtrand im Passepartoutausschnitt, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
