Description
Der Pariser Künstler Robert Bouchet stellte seine Werke ab 1922 im Salon des Indépendants, Salon d’Automne und dem Salon des Tuileries in Paris aus. Während sich Bouchet für die eine Landschaft von dem Vorort Chelles im Osten von Paris inspirieren ließ, zeigt die andere Ansicht eine Straße in der Bergregion Gairaut bei Nizza. Die zwei Gemälde von Gairaut und Chelles sind expressiv in ihrer Farbigkeit und mit pastosem Pinselduktus auf die Leinwände aufgetragen. So erreicht Bouchet mit beiden Gemälden eine besondere Dramatik und eine fast magische Stimmung. – Insgesamt farbfrisch und sehr gut erhalten; gerahmt.
