In herbstlichem Kolorit, stimmungsvoll eingefangener Blick auf die Festung Hohensalzburg, die sich majestätisch über der Stadt erhebt. Loos, der 1826 nach Salzburg ging, beteiligte sich an der Ausführung des von Kaiser Franz I. angeregten Panoramabildes von Salzburg, das Johann Sattler zwischen 1825 und 1828 vollendete. – Das Blatt vereinzelt leicht fleckig, in den unteren Ecken mit Knickfalten, verso Reste alter Montage, sonst in gutem und farbfrischem Zustand.
