Description
In naturgetreuem Duktus ausgeführte Komposition mit sicher erfassten Licht- und Schattenverhältnissen. Die Arbeit entstand in dem Zeitraum, in dem sich der Künstler in Rom niederließ (1802-1819), das ihm zu seiner zweiten Heimat wurde. Aufgelegt und im Bereich des Himmels mit drei winzigen Stockfleckchen, ansonsten altersgemäß in gutem Zustand.
