Description
Reizvolle, sehr dekorative Darstellung einer lebhaften Darbietung im Sinne der Commedia dell’Arte, die Rugendas wohl während seiner Ausbildung in Venedig kennengelernt hatte; das traditionelle italienische Theater erfreute sich allerdings im frühen 18. Jahrhundert auch in vielen deutschen Städten großer Beliebtheit. – Leicht fleckig, verso mit Montageresten, dabei von schönem Gesamteindruck.
