Rasch und dynamisch gesetzter Entwurf des Evangelisten im Moment der Inspiration, mit seinem Evangelistensymbol in der Erscheinungsform eines Engels an seinem Schreibpult. Vollständig auf eine Zierunterlage mit Rahmenlinien aufgelegt. Insgesamt leicht fleckig, Unterlage etwas faltig und mit Montageresten. Verso mit einer angedeuteten figürlichen Skizze in Rötel. Altersgemäß gut erhalten. Verso mit einem nicht identifizierbaren Sammlerstempel.
