Description
Das Blatt ist in der Edition Mixografia, Los Angeles erschienen. Diese Edition bedient sich eines patentierten Verfahrens. Der Künstler stellt ein dreidimensionales Modell her, von dem eine oder mehrere Formen angefertigt werden. Diese Formen werden wie eine Kupferstichplatte eingefärbt und mit Papierfaserbrei ausgefüllt. Anschließend wird das Papiermaché wie beim traditionellen Tiefdruck auf ein feuchtes Künstlerpapier gedruckt. Es entsteht ein plastisches Papierobjekt mit Reliefcharakter. Die Farben sind von ausgesprochener Tiefe. Ähnlich einem Fresko zeichnen sie sich durch ihren satten und matten Charakter aus. – Mit minimalen Retuschen.
