Description
Im letzten Jahrzehnt des 20. Jahrhunderts wird der Orient zu einem Leitmotiv des Künstlers. In dieser Zeit entwickelt Corpora die Farbigkeit seiner Aquarelle und Gemälde zu neuer Intensität, die im vorliegenden Gemälde in ihrer Ausdruckskraft noch durch den heftigen Malgestus gesteigert wird. Durch die mal transparent fließenden, mal zum Relief getürmten Farben erhält das Bild einen reizvollen Materialcharakter. – In ausgezeichneter Erhaltung.
