Description
Bei den kleinformatigen Arbeiten des Jahres 1947 experimentiert Cavael mit mechanischen Mitteln wie der Frottage oder – wie auch hier – mit dem Materialdruck. Vor dem so entstandenen malerischen Grund lässt er organische Schablonenformen in freier Anordnung schweben. – In sehr guter Erhaltung und Farbfrische. Die Blattkanten umlaufend mit Packpapierstreifen abgeklebt.
