Description
Dekoratives Blumenstillleben, in dem die Ranken des Geißblattes vor einem wolkig blauen, nach rechts aufgehellten Hintergrund eine starke Dynamik entfalten. Max Kaus, ein Schüler Heckels und Kirchners, betont die ornamentale Wirkung der Pflanze, war sich aber sicher auch ihres Symbolcharakters als Zeichen der Treue und Beständigkeit bewusst. – Verso mit Resten alter Montierung. Mit minimalen Bereibungen, sonst von sehr schönem Gesamteindruck.
